Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin expressed his disappointment with some ETH group members and thought it was “bad” that the ecosystem was too welcoming for “casinos.”
Throughout an ask-me-anything (AMA) on Tako, Buterin responded to a query about whether or not he had felt disillusioned on the Ethereum Basis, the crypto business or the group. He answered “of course,” particularly when others query why Ethereum has not been extra open to functions with blockchain playing, seemingly taking a jab at its competitor, Solana, and the way their ecosystem has embraced loads of memecoin exercise over the previous 12 months.
Buterin’s remark comes because the Ethereum group has confronted backlash from members elevating the alarm that the chain will lose its aggressive benefit to rivals if it doesn’t handle some core points, whereas Solana has attracted extra new builders than Ethereum and has poached prime expertise.

“But I found an interesting point: on the internet, many people will say those things, but when I chat with the community in person, everyone’s values are the same as before, so I feel like I have a responsibility to this community and can’t abandon them,” Buterin added.
